Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate Recipe Cooking Time: 10 minutes Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
3 cups of Whole milk Pinch of sea salt ¼ cup of white chocolate 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves 1 Can pumpkin puree 1/8 teaspoon of ground allspice 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/8 teaspoon of ground nutmeg Pinch of cinnamon Whipped cream
Instructions
1. 1. In a small sauce pan over medium heat, combine milk, pumpkin and spices. Keep moving around with a spoon. 2. Remove from heat and add chocolate (reserve some for garnish) 3. Strain through a fine mesh strainer, then return to heat. 4. Just before serving, top each mug with a generous mound of whipped cream, a few shavings of white chocolate, and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. Serve immediately. 5. In the picture the garnish is toasted marshmallows
