American Chop Suey, Whole Wheat

American Chop Suey, Whole Wheat





Ingredients 


1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 medium onion
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb lean ground beef
1 14.5oz can stewed tomatoes
1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes
1 16 oz box whole wheat spaghetti 


Method of Preparation 
Step 1) In a large skillet sauté garlic and onion in olive oil.
Step 2) Add ground beef and cook until beef is browned.
Step 3) Add, stewed, and diced tomato
Step 4) Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Step 5) Cook whole-wheat spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
Step 6) In that same pan combine both the pasta and sauce together.
